Welcome to the Chester County Bird Club! We are a not for profit educational organization. We promote education in all aspects of aviculture and the care of pet birds among bird breeders, pet owners, and the general public. Chester County Bird Club (CCBC) encourages breeders to engage in selective breeding, closed banding, accurate record keeping, and where possible; provide support to the pet owners who acquire their birds. CCBC produces educational outreach programs, bird shows and other events promoting the benefits of bird ownership. We maintain affiliations with a range of national and regional aviculture organizations, and support a variety of programs which encourage conservation of birds in the wild, particularly parrots, finches and other birds that are also kept as pets. We also support programs dedicated to the welfare of pet birds, including rescue and adoption organizations.
