How cool is this? Scoot will be in commercials and on billboards! Here is his story from owners Jeff and Pat Levine of the
A couple of weeks ago we were contacted by Animal Acts in North Jersey. They were looking for a Blue & Gold Macaw to do 3 commercials. We were set up for a screen test and given a location in center city for us to take him. We figured it would be a quick “here’s the bird and yes he is pretty enough.”. Well, we took Scoot there and they loved him. They had us sit around for six hours to test the actors with Scoot to see which ones were OK handling a bird and which one’s went running. The next day we got an e-mail with the shooting dates and the script. You could have knocked us over with a feather when we saw that Scoot was in all three commercial and he had about 80% of the lines (or his voiceover did). Not only is he in the commercials but he did a bunch of still sessions with the actors for billboards. It took a week of shooting of ten hour days. Scoot did a great job and was a real trooper. He was a big hit with everyone there. They will be sending us copies of the commercial once it is edited and released to TV and they said we can post them on our website. Scoot is donating all his earnings to Jeff |
